Article in New Forest Advertiser - Geoffrey from New Milton met Jane at one of Second Chance's "Table Talk" Dinners. Both had been married before and were now divorced. They said that they would have never have met each other if they had not both decided to join Second Chance and are now planning to marry at the end of the year with the blessing of both their families.

Article in Postbag - Kate wrote that she wanted to use Postbag to say a big "thank you" to Frances Barker who runs Second Chance for the hard work and dedication she contributes in finding many couples happiness. I was in my late 40's when I registered with the Bureau and very apprehensive and sceptical about the whole thing. I need not have been and it is a credit to Frances that I have joined her long list of successes. I have never before written an article in a newspaper in my life but I feel if something good happens in life one should share it.

Article in Postbag - Just over two years ago my husband died of cancer leaving me a widow aged 50. I met a lady who told me about Second Chance and decided to join. I have been a member for over 18 months and have joined in many of the social gatherings that Frances arranges. I wanted to express my wholehearted thanks to her and to say to anybody out there who might read this letter that I have yet to meet a more genuine person who has everyone of her member's interest at heart. I have now met a wonderful gentleman through the Agency and I cannot express my gratitude enough.

She remembers the day she decided to join an Introduction Agency it was Valentines Day the worst day for singletons everywhere. A friend recommended Second Chance and I joined. Sitting in Frances' Office flicking through details of eligible bachelors one in particular struck my eye. Frances assured me that he was a really nice guy so she sent him my details. A week later I found myself sitting at home waiting for his call which went really well. We met in a Pub that Friday and 2 years later we moved in together. Most people are surprised when they found out how we met but also seem genuinely pleased to hear that dating agencies do actually work and I would happily recommend Second Chance to any of my single friends.
